As you can see from this diagram, now Yahweh (God) has entered our spirit, through His Holy Spirit.
Diagram 3 / Saved Person
The moment a person gets saved, the cross comes into the area of their former sins. The separation that once was a significant part of life is now removed. As you can see by the diagram, the cross
is seen instead of the person’s sin. The Holy Spirit then moves directly into our spirit.
There is nothing that has physically changed at this point on the outside.
For the transformation has just taken place. But the conversion (salvation) is now able to begin to move into the soul and body as well! The flesh / called Self Life is still very present. But this too will change in the future. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:7)
For if we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life! ( Romans 5:10)
I accepted Christ
because of a trial that came into my life. My daughter was very sick a year after she was born with a blood disease. Time caring for her brought me into a period of doubt that there even was a God. I went to a church where there was no reality
of Christ. I’m sure all Methodist churches aren’t like this, but mine was into politics. I thought I knew Christ, but didn’t know Him!
In my misery,
I knelt down to watch a program by Billy Graham. I accepted Christ that night. And the next week received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. A friend told me about a Prayer Group, who had speakers come from all over the world to share about
Christ. They also prayed for people to get healed. I went, wanting healing for my daughter. Instead, I received two things. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and healing for my daughter! I was too young in the Lord to know all the
controversy about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In Yeshua’s wisdom, He gave me both.
I was such a doubter when I entered the large mansion where the meeting was held.
The people all looked so peaceful and happy; I thought they were on drugs. But, my motivating factor to stay was – my daughter. As I stood there after the meeting (surrounded by several hundred people), a middle-aged couple came up to me, and asked
me if I wanted prayer? I said I did. They took me into another room, and both took my left hand, and asked me what I needed? I told them about my daughter. Then, they said, “Would you take whatever God gives you?” Disappointed,
I said yes. As they prayed, I went into a peaceful state of surrender. Not aware of anything around me, but I suddenly heard someone pray in another language. As I opened my eyes, I recognized it was me.
The next day I doubted what I had received. I remembered the first sentence I had spoken from the night before. It sounded Hebrew to me. So, I asked my Jewish paper-boy if he knew what the words
meant. Shocked, he looked at me and said, “Are you Jewish?” No, I said at that point. He said, “How would you know those words?” I told him I heard them from someone, not mentioning my experience, or that it
was me. He told me what I had spoken. He said, “In perfect Hebrew, you have said, “Praise is onto you, my God!” I was calling out the names of Yahweh (God). Four other times the gift I received that night would
be confirmed by other people who heard me use my heavenly language. I thank Yahweh that from that day I have not doubted His gift. Speaking in an unknown tongue (from the Spirit of God) is one of the signs, but does not have to be seen as the primary
(I Corinthians 12:1) Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren,
I would not have you ignorant. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the
same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kind of tongues; to another interpretation of tongues. The Spirit gives to man as He wills. ( I Corinthians verses 7-11).
unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know! The Lord says to us.
Prayer: Lord Yeshua Jesus, help us to be open to whatever your will is for our lives. Even if we are seeking other things, bring us to your ultimate will and purpose.
Be with us I pray, in all things you have planned for us. So, as we walk through this life on earth, we will not miss your perfect will. Amen.
